Redefining Marriage: Why Not?

Although we’d much rather discuss something else, the debate over the redefinition of marriage continues to hold the public’s attention. Furthermore, it does not seem that the case for the traditional definition of marriage can even receive a fair hearing.  Is it so ridiculous to suggest that we need an institution which insists that our children matter more than we do?

Twelve Things Evangelical Christians (Should) Teach About Love, Sex and Marriage

 

1)      When the Bible says “it is not good for man to be alone” it is not suggesting that Adam merely lacked a romantic partner! Sex is about so much more than the satisfaction of our romantic longings. Adam lacked a family, and marriage is the foundation of a new family.
